AFTB focuses on helping families survive and thrive in the Army. Strong families are the pillar of support behind strong soldiers, and AFTB's mission is to educate and train all of America's Army in knowledge, skills and behaviors. Courses are designed to prepare our Army families to move successfully into the future. Promotion points can be earned by taking Level I courses. The daytime class offers FREE childcare!
AFTB has three different sets of courses. Level I courses, “Surviving and Thriving in the Army” are targeted for people new to the Army or anyone interested in updating personal skills or basic knowledge.
AFTB Level II training, "We're in the Army Now", expands on AFTB Level I training, but Level I is not a prerequisite for this course. Emerging leaders or anyone interested in building their personal, management and communication skills as well as increasing their knowledge about Army life are encouraged to attend.
Level III training, entitled “Making a Difference through Leadership”, will help you to continue to develop those all important leadership and communication skills. Learn how to manage conflict and become a mentor. Get the skills you need to succeed at home, work and play! There is no prerequisite for this course.
Contact AFTB at 634-8526 or stop by Davis Hall to sign up for this class. You can also email aftb.vicenza@eur.army.mil. The daytime class offers FREE childcare! Please note that childcare spaces are limited. Courses are also available on-line through www.myarmylifetoo.com, click on continuing education and select AFTB training.
