The Vicenza Child Development Centers (CDC) provide quality full-time/part-time and hourly childcare for children 6 weeks through 5 years of age. Additionally, small ratio groups are available for addressing the individualized needs of each child. The CDC's specialized and trained staff has a strong educational foundation for early childhood practices and theories. They insure all children receive the proper nurturing, respect and social interaction skills regardless of family background, race, gender or culture. It gives children the opportunity to make friends, to explore and to experiment through a variety of play activities.
CDC Bldg. 398 is accredited through the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). The Villaggio CDC Bldg. 703 began operations in September 2010 and is not eligible to seek accreditation until after at least one year of operations. Accreditation is a nationally recognized credential for a developmental appropriate early childhood program. This credential recognizes programs that provide high quality care and education for young children. The purpose of becoming accredited is to continue to learn and improve the quality of our programs for young children.
