A home away from home for anyone interested in the Performing Arts

Fostering creativity and teamwork in a caring environment, Soldiers’ Theatre is open to the entire community. Each year, a full season of musicals, comedies, and dramas features outstanding work from volunteer actors, singers, dancers, designers, technicians, and choreographers.

Twice a year, Soldiers’ Theatre participates in the IMCOM-E One Act Festival and Tournament of Plays Festival. Soldiers’ Theatre was the first military theatre to represent the United States at the AACT National Theatre Festival in 1999. And in 2006, Soldiers’ Theatre represented the United States at the AACT International Theatre Festival. Over the years, Soldiers’ Theatre has garnered numerous honors for its commitment to quality arts programming.

In addition to ongoing training from a small, but profession staff, Soldiers’ Theatre is home to adult dance andmusic classes, an annual visit from the prestigious Missoula Children’s theatre, and a series of concerts ranging from the classics to jazz. The warm and friendly theatre is home to 96 seats, a scene shop, dressing rooms, green room, a practice room for musicians, and a recording studio.

Time to dig out those tap shoes. Soldiers' Theatre adult Tap Dance classes begin July 14. The cost is $42 for a 6 week session. Beginning class is held on Tuesday and advanced on Thursday each week. Call 634-7281 to register.
